Project A is the fluid and organic artists collaborative within the Asian American Artists Collective committed to making work together under a singular identity toward a common goal. We cut our teeth in the fall of 2002 and since that time many artists have participated and more are always welcome! The hard core chicken nuggets include: Sam del Rosario, Drew Ee, Anida Esguerra, Greg Grucel, Tim Hugh, Robert Karimi, Adam Kellman, Laura Kina, Ann Marie Lickteig, Larry Lee,

April 9-May 9, 2004 100 Cuts at Gallery 312, an exhibition of local and international artists whose work draws out the intimate connections between body and landscape, how demarcation of land creates a psychological and metaphysical abrasion in the body to address pertinent questions about the present cultural and political climate. Ostensibly through the very broad definition of the word "cut", which could refer to a soundtrack as well as an incision, the exhibit encourages the viewer to make connections between violence, memory, the state, geography, and the body.
Artists - Shelly Bahl, Millie Chen, Charlie Cho, Emily Jacir, Robert Karimi, Jung Mee Jamie Kim, Donald Lambert, Amanda Ross-Ho, Wang Wei, Chien Yuan. Exhibition curated by Laura Kina, a member of the Gallery 312 programming committee and Larry Lee of Project A.

In June of 2003 Project A members helped organize and exhibited in a group show titled Mythical Nation at ArtSPACE in New Haven, CT. The show brought together APIA artists from collectives from Chicago (Project A) and NY (Godzookie) along with local New Haven artists. Curated by Johanna Bresnick.

April 2003 Project A members created a collaborative audio/installation called Unattended Questions that was showcased at the AAAC’s Register This! show and as part of a group show called Operation: Human Intelligence (Hyde Park Art Center, IL May 2003 and the University of Memphis Gallery, TN September 2003).
